H. How to complete it
Apprentice wage schedule
Follow these steps to complete this section.
STEP 1: Review Section H in the Boilerplate Standards-NonCBA.
STEP 2: Review the language in Appendix A and note that this section typically contains some boilerplate language with a space to insert the journeyworker / ending wage for the occupation, followed by a template to enter the starting wage and progression until the journeyworker / ending wage is reached.
STEP 3: Customize this section by inserting the current journeyworker / ending wage rate for the occupation and entering the starting wage, wage progression (based on a percentage of the journeyworker / ending wage or dollar amount), and the frequency that apprentices will receive an increase. The wage schedule template in Appendix A denotes a six-month frequency, but this is only an example and a sponsor can alter this template or use a different one to fit the desired frequency.
